Time of past OR future Camino
07 Sep - 14th Sep 2017 StJPP to Logroño.
Hello there,

So I will return for the third time to complete my alternative camino Frances! First 5 days was Sarria to SDC and last September I did St. Jean to Logroño which I loved!.

So my last leg is a long one between Logroño and Sarria and I have 3 weeks off work to do this. I'm trying to settle on a date and I know there is not much between them, either May 16 or May 28th.. Should I wait for the 28th so the weather is getting better or will it be very busy at the start of June?

Who can know what the weather will be, I arrived in Logrono on May 25, 2017 and it was in the 90’s F. I’m from Texas so I’m used to the heat but, I much preferred walking when it was cool. The Camino will probably be less traveled earlier but, either way, I hope you enjoy it. Buen Camino.

The weather is so crazy nowadays!!!

Yesterday people in Valencia area were at the beach with 26 degrees, 1 week ago everything was about snow!!

I would go as soon as possible in order to avoid to the maximum the pick season. On May you are already in a crowded month.

Buen Camino & Ultreia!!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
There is no way to predict either the weather or the crowds on the Camino four months in advance. You can however use those flexible dates to your advantage when it comes to booking your airfare. Buen Camino!

Buen camino, peregrino.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
