Yes, all the time. The forum played as big a part in polishing my sharp corners as the Camino did. I think about the Camino nearly every day and dream about it some nights. We are lost causes......Do any of you feel the same?
I'm no veteran at all (I walked only part of Camino Frances this year), but yes, I'm planning my trip for 2017 ever since I returned home in May. And I read this forum almost every day.I have been back just over a month now.... Told myself it was my last Camino francés cos it couldn't be bettered, really. So why do it again?
Oh how wrong and mistaken I was.
Of course the minute I was back, I was reading this forum.
Why???
Probably because I still feel 'on the Camino' with like minded people...?
I feel for every single person who writes about their blisters, their pain or their worries and fears before they walk the Camino. I don't always answer because so many other people here are better at it. When I do, it is to help or I can't help it.
I dream, when others post about their Caminos, past or to be.
Just to say, there will be a next time, 'if the Lord spares me' lol (actually a quote from Lillian Beckwith).
Why I just don't know! Wherever it takes me.

I feel the same. Planning to return in 2017 to start in Melide where I became ill last July. Can't wait to return. I miss the wonderful people I met. I miss the experience of watching singing groups of children walk by, of greeting people I met as I walked, of sharing experiences with others, and of course the simple courtesy of residents and pilgrims alike. So yes, I miss it too.I have been back just over a month now.... Told myself it was my last Camino francés cos it couldn't be bettered, really. So why do it again?
