Trains from Alicante to Valencia

Alicante - Valencia
Does anybody knows why there are no tickets available for sale for the mid day trains for 14 August between Alicante and Valencia?
 
Camino Way markers in Bronze
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I believe it is probably too early to purchase. Spain does not release train and bus tickets as early as some of us would like.

Far too early. Relax. But there will be frequent buses and trains each day. Alicante is a traffic hub. And a lovely city.

Both the bus and train station are an easy walking distance forom the city centre.

There is no direct rail link between Alicante and Valencia as far as I am aware. Bus is a more direct option
