Travel from Madrid to SJDP

Ginny

New Member
We are three Australians arriving in Madrid in the afternoon of Saturday 17 May. We would like to travel by train to SJDP the quickest way.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
You'll probably either have to take a train or bus to Pamplona, and then a bus to SJPDP. Traveling on a weekend is not going to be the easiest. I, too, had this question and have decided to take a train from Madrid to Pamplona, then I will be staying at the Corazon Puro, a private albergue who provides a ride to SJPDP the next day. For 46€, I will get a ride to SJPDP, a night in my very first albergue, dinner and breakfast the next morning.

Hi Ginny,
There's another thread about getting to SJPP from Madrid. If you scroll about halfway down the page, AnnieSantiago provides great information about the bus.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
