i feel compelled to share this link. Two brothers from Granada, Oliver and Juan Lu, are doing the Camino Frances from Roncesvalles. Juan Lu is in a wheelchair - cerebral palsy and Oliver is his partner. They have a website at www.caminosinlimites.com (Camino without limits). They are doing a video blog - here is their first day. Sunday they completed day 5.

They are getting help from pilgrims along the way,and seem to be having a fantastic time, despite the grueling ups and downs, stairs, steps, boulders and creeks.

The video is in Spanish, but their joy is universal.

YouTube video

Enjoy.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
...and speaking of inspiration and being humbled by how fortunate we able bodied people are, just thought that I would add this link to the Paralympics promotional trailer created by Channel 4: Yes I Can!

Thank you Juana for sharing this. In may 2014 I met three German girls on the Caminho Português. One in a wheelchair. As hospitaleiro I had the pleasure to welcome them in Angeiras.

They had hard times and fantastic ones. In shunshine, in rain and in pain - they were always laughing. There is a beautiful website in German about their adventures:

I hope you will enjoy it.

Bom caminho, Rainer

I wish I could kbew German. Looks like they had a great time. It's all about attitude.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
It took me a few minutes to get the tears out of my eyes before I could start typing.

This is brotherly love on its highest level. What an inspiration.

I look forward to following their journey on YouTube.

Thank you for sharing,

Buen Camino
