una or un?

Kiwi-family

{Rachael, the Mama of the family}
Time of past OR future Camino
walking every day for the rest of my life
una bolsa or un bolso?

Googletranslate says one, Coffeebreak Spanish says the other
Of course it doesn't really matter, but I'd just like to know!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
It depends to what you are referring: una bolsa is a bag for carrying things, so in the supermarket at the checkout they will ask "quiere una bolsa?" do you want a bag? To confuse matters "un bolso" is a handbag sometimes qualified: un bolso de mujer - a woman's handbag or un bolso de mano - hand luggage.

On TV everyday there is a report on the Bolsa - which is the Spanish stockmarket and of course you can have bolsas under your eyes!

Now I know! And I can say the ATM swallowed my credit card, so I'm all set!
Thanks.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I have used both successfully. At one time I used "telebanco", but then realized it only referred to a particular network. I would be interested to hear what natives call it!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Of course pronounced: ka-hair-doh (cajero). See? Easy. Now you are all set.

No "d" in the last syllable and remember to pronounce the "h" as if you are clearing your throat preparatory to a spit....

Hi Kanga
I think mrlin was being funny in his post relating the last three letters 'doh' to a word used in days gone by (here in oz anyway) meaning 'money'. Lol. I could be wrong but that's how I interpreted his post but do agree with your correction if anyone is learning the Spanish pronunciation
