I start the VdlP on Saturday after a day of rest in Salamanca today (20 hours of travel). Had my first glass of vino tinto and went to bed exhausted...woke up at 4:00am and was going nuts -couldn't sleep- so thought I'd post and introduce myself. Weather is beautiful - sunny with a high of 67F/20C and a low of 32F/2C. Great walking weather! It looks like my first week will be sunny with no rain. Left Dallas, Texas with 3 inches of snow on Thursday...I am blessed.

Wow is it that warm now. It is -15c (5f) in Montreal today. I am thinking about starting vdlp in May, should i move the date to April. Buen camino.
