2017 March -- VDLP Seville to Santiago
Plan on walking VDLP , most likely begin walking March 23. I'm up for company,

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
If you hang around for a while and walk slowly, you might come across me, Tigger and Christopher Robin - 3 intrepid Australian women in the first flush of youth (ahem) out for a great walk. We plan to start walking in Salamanca about 21 April.

Hi @Cliff175

I get to Seville on 20/03/2017 and plan to walk around 22/03/2017... would love some company!! Please pm me if you are ok walking with me? I will be staying at the Sevilla Dream Hostel (10E per night and NOT the 20E I mentioned in the other thread! )

Be good to talk before we walk!

Cheers!

Ginette

Good Morning,
The only variable is I may go to Almeria first to visit some friends I walked with on my first camino. If they are home I plan to visit so my beginning date would change. I would like to visit Seville a day or so also. So lets see how things play out. Well know better as time gets closer. Yea my theory to walking is " The turtle Won " ! so 'don't worry about the pace.
Ill keep you posted , see if our dates line up .

Good Morning,
I'll drop a line as I get closer to Salamanca, see if you are in the area. I'm going to Astorga, then to Leon, meet a friend and walk to Santiago.
Maybe well walk together at some point. One thing you know for sure is, you never know. Especially on the Camino !

Hi, Tigger here, cousin of Kanga, One of the reasons we are slow walkers, at least here in Australia when we walk together, is that we stop and pat every dog we meet. Apart from bouncing, one of my favourite things in life is animals, especially dogs. If you were with us, Kanga and I would attempt to 'whisper' them for you, though I have heard those Spanish dogs can be less welcoming, defending their territory from wandering pilgrims, in which case we would sweet talk them in Spanish and walk straight on by not showing any fear. Kanga can speak dog Spanish and I will learn the appropriate 'sweet nothings' to add to my limited Spanish vocabulary that is centred mainly around food.

Hi @Tigger

I can see that Australians love dogs.. most of my Ozzie friends hv a canine friend or two. I dont mind dogs I am familiar with or those pocket dogs but I would never pat a strange dog in case I lose some body parts.

I have seen what dogs can be capable of, and I am not about to test its friendliness to humans! Even at some distance, I feel quite faint being alone with a strange dog in the vicinity.

Katy and I will probably start that day, if we're not too jet lagged from getting in on the 22nd and want to stay an extra day in Seville. Is this your first Camino?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Will be my fourth I may visit people I met on the Frances in Almeria. So would change my start date. Not sure if I have enough time to visit. I'll know as time gets closer. Anyway keep in touch. Have you walked before ?

I'll be a few days behind you but keep in touch with this form and perhaps we can meet up.

Good Evening
Just a note to let you know I'll be walking on the 23 more than likely.
Drop a line if you may want company.

I am in Seville night of Good Friday 14th April and then get the bus to pick up where I left off in Villafranca de los Barros on Saturday 15th, staying at Carmen's. Peeps starting in Seville around 8/9 April may therefore come across me (pink backpack).

...and we starting in Salamanca around the 21-22nd being slow walkers, may encounter a Pommie Pink Backpack!
