Very scared of terrorism

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
We all should be afraid of terrorist attacks. It's irresponsible to quote figures. I will be on Camino in 7 days time but I am worried. I think all pilgrims should be worried . Buen Camino

The common denominator in terrorist attacks seems to be they are aiming to splatter as much blood on your television screen as possible.

Seeing as how much of the camino is not covered by web cams and is located far from the talking heads in the media. I'd suggest the threat of terrorism on the camino is pretty low.

Too, the wanna be terrorist would be hard pressed to find a place where he could get more than 5 pilgrims in one place at any given time. No bang for the buck.

I'm going to close this thread. Some inappropriate posts have been removed. There is no need to joke about a matter like this. We know that different people have different susceptibilities to fear. A lot of the statistics posted here, which show relative likelihoods of harm or physical injury, may help put things in perspective for some people. But if the fear has a bit of irrationality in it, the statistics will not remove the fear. So, not to dissuade people from giving each other comfort before embarking on the camino, but I just don't think further safety comparisons are relevant to those who are fearful. Buen camino, Laurie
