Hey! My name is Christoffer and I'm from Sweden. Planning on starting from Seville about the 26th of september. Anyone else on the forum with simular plans?

Hey Christoffer, my name is Jim from USA - I am planning to start in Seville on the 17th of September allowing myself 42-44 days to get to Santiago. My only concern is the high temps for the first few weeks. I look forward to hearing from you and anyone else planning to walk the Via de la Plata in Sept/Oct.

Jim and Chrestoffer, I will be starting on VDLP on Sept. 16 and plan to take at least 44 days to complete it.I'm from Texas. This is my first camino and I'm really psyched about going.

The VdlP was my first camino as well, and my second, and will probably be my sixth also. WARNING: it is addictive.

Hi, a change of plans for me - I will walk this July the Camino del Salvador from Leon to Oviedo and then the Camino Primitivo from Oviedo to Melide where I will join up with the Camino Frances on to Santiago. Maybe VDLP in 2016. Yep, I admit that I am addicted. Buen Camino!

Hi Ricitoseplata... I would love to walk this route but not comfortable walking alone. I heard it's very isolated and not a lot of pilgrims. I am from Toronto and wondering if I can possibly walk with you. Can we possibly exchange info via personal email?

Christoffer, are you still planning on Via de la Plata on September 26? A slight change of plan for me. I will leave Castiblanco de los Arroyos on September 17. Playing it safe and avoiding Guillena.If we don't run into each other, Buen Camino.
