Via de la Plata

Hi, I'm Geordie and live in Vancouver, Canada. I leave for Spain on April 28 and on May 6 will be continuing where I left off the Via de la Plata three years ago. My husband will be walking the Camino Frances at the same time. We will meet in Santiago in early June. Both of us are looking forward to getting on on the road again. Walking the Camino is such a wonderful experience.

Hi, Geordie,

Welcome to the forum, and I'm happy to see there will be another woman walking sola on the Vdlp. You don't say where you're starting, but I'll be starting from Sevilla either next Tuesday or Wed. (April 14 or 15). I'm getting those pre-camino stomach flips right about now.

Hope to meet other Forum members on the Via!

Laurie

Laurie,

Sorry, but I am a man. Geordie is the north English diminutive for George. I will be starting from Canaveral just north of Caceres. I started from Sevilla 3 years ago.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Oops, Geordie,

Sorry about that. I think I was confusing your post with the other thread about women walking alone on the Vdlp. It looks like we won't be meeting up given our starting dates and places, but I wish you the very best Camino! Laurie

Just a few words to say I hope you have ¡¡Buen Camino!! from Cañaveral, the little town where my father was born 75 years ago.
