Via Jacobi Complete - Finally

Folks,

The only reason for this post is for the sheer joy of saying that I have completed the Via Jacobi Camino through Switzerland after a 38 day layover prior to the last day today...hence the * in my profile opposite 2013. I have no other Camino routes to compare to however this has been a wonderful experience...details in blog below.

Tomorrow I start the Via Gabennensis route to Le Puy en Velay and then on to St. Jean Pied de Port. If all goes well I hope to complete this prior to returning to Canada November 15th...however recent experience tells me to just take it one day at a time.

Well done on the Jacobi!

And Bon Chemin for the Gebennensis!

Please keep updating your blog - I'll be on this route next year, I hope.

Hi Guy,
So glad you recommenced your journey, thank you for sharing your joy (nothing like that 'blissed out' pilgrim feeling) good luck with the next stages.

Well done Guy, I heard about you and your eye problems, when I stayed with Elsbeth and Alfred near Ruiggisburg,, what a wonderful hospitable couple, a high point on my walk. Good you did the Swiss thing first, you will find France a lot cheaper and quieter, looking forward to your accounts, Gitti
