Great time of the year for a long walk. The Frances last year was my first Camino and the weather, overall, was outstanding. As many have suggested, I stayed between the 'recommended' stops, and rarely ran into crowded conditions. Only thing missing were the green fields, which had already been harvested. When you cross into Galicia, everything turns green again. A reminder that you're approaching the ocean and the end of your journey. The stories of heat and bed races have convinced me not to walk in the Summer. I know for the majority, this is their time off from work to do this. My next Camino will be in October again. Have a safe trip and Buen Camino!
