Walking during the summer

I am thinking of walking the Camino Frances starting in Saria at the end of July.
Has anyone walked during this time. Would it be too hot?

Hi. The weather is generally fine. The weather in Galicia is much like that of the South England (unpredictable) We were walking in August and it rained a fair amount. So be prepared and take a waterproof jacket!

I walked the CF that time of year in 2013. I thought the weather was beautiful. Cool morning and evenings and warm days.
You definitely need to stay hydrated, though.
