Hi Kathy!

My wife Francine and I hail from Tacoma Washington, and we're starting our second Camino at St Jean at the end of March, 2016. Depending on how snail-y you are, we might just catch up with you!

We will have forum patches on our pack, so if you see them say hello.

Buen Camino!

Hi Mary! I am originally from Boston... now living in sunny California. My neighbor and I will be leaving from Pamplona on March 21, 2016. We'll be the two snails walking the Camino. You'll probably be through Pamplona by the time we start out. We may see you along the Way if we walk faster than expected :)
Buen Camino Mary!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Kathy, Kay and Mary Flo. I will be stepping out from StJPdP on March 19 so our paths may cross. Not long to go now - definitely getting excited!

Hello!

I am starting the Camino from Pamplona. I get into Madrid from US March 21, 2016. Go glad that see women on this trail. I am a solo walker and a bit concerned that there would not be many others on the trail. I get into Madrid around 9 am and was planning on taking the bus to Pamplona. I wasn't sure if I should just start walking or stay in Pamplona and start early next day. I have checked the weather and it looks like high chance of rain and it will be in the high 50s ,low 60s F. I was a bit worried about walking alone as a female (44 yrs will turn 45 on the walk). Hope to meet up with you all. Do I need to make arrangements to stay somewhere in Pamplona before I get to Spain???

And I start on the 23rd, on the Ruta de Lana--expect to connect with he Frances at Burgos the day before Easter. Maybe see some Forum folks out there?
(No worries, incipientinquiry, there are many of us women out there. You'll have a great time.
Cizur Minor is nearby and a nice alternative to Pamplona, if you want space from the city. See how you feel once you arrive...plenty of albergues to choose from. Buen Camino!)

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!

My neighbor and I will begin walking from Pamplona on the 21st of March. We'll be the 2 snails walking along so you will probably catch up to us. We are from California - flying into Pamplona on the 19th - staying there for Palm Sunday and then beginning our walk.
Buen Camino! See you on the Way!

So happy to hear! I hope that our paths will cross and I can catch up to you guys. I only have 10 days so I am caught between wanting to just go at comfortable pace but also needing to be a big town to take the bus back to Madrid to fly out. I will be coming from Texas.

Bueno Camino!

Starting out the same day as you but on the Camino Ingles - have a great pilgrimage!
