coachj,

Walking poles and other pilgrim equipment are available in SJPdP at these two boutiques owned by the same helpful veteran pilgrim; Boutique du Pelerin, 32 rue de La Citadelle and Direction Compostelle, place Floquet. "

Here is their French web >> http://directioncompostelle.com/directi ... ments.html

Buen Camino,

Hi Caochj - I will also be leaving from SJPdP on June 14. I will be with my 18 yr old daughter, 25 yr old son and 76 yr old mother. We will arrive as a group, but we don't all have the same pace, so we know we will be walking separate and meeting up at each albergue. If you see our group, say Hi so I know who you are.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
