Hello fellow pilgrims, I am planning to walk the Camino from SJPP to Santiago then on to Cape Finisterre, next year, arriving in SJPP on the 28th March. The plan was to set off on 1st April but that could be rather auspicious!

Is anyone looking to leave around this time? I have a 6 week
sabbatical hopefully this will be time enough to complete my walk?

Good luck to all of you going this year or already on your way.

Best Regards

Mark

Six weeks seems plenty of time, even with some days off to get some rest or visiting Burgos and Leon.
Expect wind, rain, mud, occasional sunny days. There is a strong possibility of snow after SJPP (the Napoleon route may be or may be not open, so study the Valcarlos option) and O Cebreiro. There will be just enough pilgrims to get (if you liket it) some company. It is a good month, one of my favorites.
Buen camino!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
