You are welcomed. I am renewing my passport next week and it seems this will work for both of usThanks for this. The new Canadian passports (I got one of the 10-year ones--- a sign of optimism??? or of over-confidence in Providence??) have a chip in them, and too much moisture can fry them.
I just put my passport, along with my credencial, in a ziplock bag.

That is what i use all the time!
WoW. I love love love this mini waterproof bag. I hope Walmart in Canada carry them. Thanks for posting with the picsWanted to share this find from Walmart for under $7 USD (no commercial affiliation)
I was looking for something other than a ziplock baggie for my passport and pilgrims passport. I found this Outdoor dry pouch comes in different colors and which can be used for pilgrims passport/ passports/ money or whatever you want to put in it.
On the Camino Frances although the ziplock baggie worked for a time, eventually the bag became worn and the edges of the bag split open. In the end I found the bag cumbersome to open and close. This Outdoor dry pouch is my replacement and weighs about the same as a ziplock. Hope someone finds it useful
Sock drawer?I use an A6 Ortleib waterproof case itself contained in a belt pouch which, when I’m walking, resides in a place where (if memory serves) only my wife would ever have found.
These days, it’s 100% safe.
Close! Lunchbox.
There is a difference between zip-closure bags. I use the sturdier, freezer type and it holds up for the Camino. (Multiple times, different routes.) The storage type has thinner plastic and isn't as sturdy.great piece of kit to share! I used a small sandwich ziploc bag... this would have been a MUCH better solution. Marked for next time. Thanks!
