Today arrived in Pamplona via Renfre. Weather is beautiful. Sunshine and I think about +12C . Lots of people in the streets celebrating Good Friday. Tapas anyone? Bus tomorrow to SJPDP hope the weather
stays this way :)
Edit: I did see some pilgrims walking around with mud on boots on clothes I am thinking it might be a clue:p for what’s to come ..
And a nice man gave me and another pilgrim with a leg problem a ride from the train station to the hill below the cathedral. He was very kind and wanted nothing but a thank you . Camino truly provides.

Thanks for the update! It seems many of us unplug once we arrive in Spain (as is the plan perhaps) but great to hear the update. I trust this Easter weekend will be a wonderful experience for you.

Thank you and Happy Easter. Beautiful here and many families out enjoying the Easter weekend. Since I havent actually started walking yet its a good time to provide updates for those who are also on their way. Or will reach heart via el camino. Nice to look forward to good weather :)

Today I will catch the bus to SJPDP. 5C high of 9C Rainy day here in Pamplona and as I see the weather report it is also rainy in SJPDP forecast of sun on Sunday. Spoke to some pilgrims who arrived yesterday from Roncesvalles walking from Valcarlos . They said they didnt think the Napoleon will be open on Sunday and they confirmed lots of mud (but there were some ways to avoid it), some rain but it wasn’t too bad they had on sneakers and said they didnt really need the rain pants but today is another day ...all be it cold rainy and windy.
As I write this I see the sun peeking thru so it may be all right afterall. :) This is your friendly weather girl signing off lol Buen Camino and Happy Easter

Edit: the sun was a teaser as fast as it came it left still windy and rainy :)
