We were also snowed out 2013 but mid March, even Valcarlos trails were closed so started from Pamplona. The weather for the next wee while looks good so hopefully Napolean opened this time. Where you staying in St Jean, I am in Beilari. I can be the cowardly lion by the way on the yellow arrow road to Santiago if you are Dorothy

It's some kind of wet, fluffy white stuff that looks like cotton candy at the state fair in Indiana but it's cold, slippery and hard to walk in when it covers the Camino at a rate of 6cm per hour. So sez the wonderful Wizard of BIQ.

Some of us Canadians love to play in the stuff. It makes us happy (most of the time) but not so much on the route Napoleon. I'm hoping for the snow to take leave by the time I arrive as well.

Hi Lisa, we will be in Orisson on 15th also , we are starting on 15th in St.Jean, so our paths will surely cross, Buen Camino
