Doubt and lingering joy
To walk along side the shadows of Millions gone before

West toward an unknown plaza
To see a Saint..or maybe..a reflection of ones true self...in a puddle 'mongst the Cobble and Bricks

Love and Hate all mixed into sweaty shoes
Did you think you would end up here...
Now?

You are all Beautiful People
One moment in time to shine like the sun and stars.

And having drank that heady wine...
Must turn face and return. home

I always love your poetry. I had an odd moment the other night, after a conversation you and I had. You used a phrase that my father and grandfather used to describe me, and it gives me pause.
