What to do with stuff I don't wanna take back

Time of past OR future Camino
Walked Camino Frances from St. Jean and continued to both Fisterra and Muxia in April/May 2016.

Just started thinking about doing Del Norte or Portuges next year.
I just finished my Camino, and I'm getting back from Muxia to Santiago. Since I didn't bought baggage, there are some things I can't carry to cabin and instead of throwing it away I would prefer to give it to someone who will use it. Is there any place for that?

I need to get rid of my walking sticks, swiss knife and probably I'll find something else.

Check your backpack in ,I always do when I am flying. No problem what so ever.
Wish you well, Peter.

Well, I have two separate flights which means I would pay 50€ for that. I can easily take my backpack as a cabin baggage for free without sticks and knife :)

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
or maybe even drop them at Ivar's house! I would not try to enter an airplane with a knife on me, no....

Pilgrim house would likely take your unwanted items.
I , too in 2014 had items I wasn't going to take back with me. I met a man, Allan from Aust who was going to volunteer way out in an alberge. He took my items there! I had my hikers, a bag, shirts, gloves and a hat..someone out there may need your recycled items!

Go to the Pilgrims House and donate it there... since not all who arrive in Santiago end their journey there. i.e. I walked into Santiago 5 times last summer and "unloaded" for others to use.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Thanks guys! I'll stop tommorrow at @natefaith place and donate it there :)

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
It's wonderful to donate your goods! For me in the US, the cost of replacing the poles and knife would easily be double the baggage cost you mention.

Well, my both flight tickets costs the same as would the extra baggage for these things. It is actually cheaper to buy new ones home than carry these back. But it just doesn't seem right to throw it away just because of that. I'll be happy if my stuff can help someone else.
