At Trouxemil, about 9km beyond Coimbra on the Caminho Português, there is a huge and impressive camino mural. It was painted in November 2019 and is probably 20-30 metres in length. I passed by it this morning, it was the highlight of an otherwise unspectacular day, and I wanted to share some of my favourite parts of the mural here. Enjoy!

Agree! It’s massive and stunning. The work of two women. I took a video of it, but it appears it’s too large to post here! It was the highlight of that walking day.

I will walk the CF again one day. I am sure I will see it.
Wonderful mural to welcome us to a wonderful city.

You will have to get pretty lost to see it while walking the CF - it’s on the CP!

It was not there when I had the good fortune to spend a week in vertical Coimbra! If it should happen again, I will make sure to head to that mural as it looks stunning. Thanks for your post. By the way, I got a hint from someone about reducing the size of media, I actually just found it in a drop down menu where there was an option to save as mp4. It did work for me, but don’t ask me to repeat it, my tech skills are based on following my nose and on a need to know basis!!!

Did I write CF instead of CP? Whoops!! But I sure love that country and the wonderful people.
