This website (which is still a work in progress) lists many relatively short pilgrim routes distributed around the Roman Catholic Dioceses of England and Wales each connected to a local shrine and or saint. (The Dioceses of England and Wales constitute a single Conference of Bishops - Scotland is separate in this regard.)

The opening page while acknowledging that this project has a Catholic background states it is "welcoming people of all faiths and none".

A quote from Pope Francis sets the tone:

Whoever they may be
— young or old, rich or poor, sick and troubled or curious tourists —
let them find due welcome, because in every person there is a
heart in search of God,
at times without being fully aware of it.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

The British Pilgrimage Trust also has a large list of pilgrimages of various lengths and even provides the GPX files for use on navigation apps: https://britishpilgrimage.org/
