Train Strike Lisbon to Porto

Traveled from Lisbon to Porto last night. Discovered train strike. Resulted in limited train availability between Lisbon and Porto. Not sure of details. Upon arrive to Porto, was told this happens a lot and should have taken the bus for transport.

That’s why a lot of pilgrims walk that distance instead

I took the bus from Porto to Lisbon last month due to a train strike and it was actually faster than the train and there were several that left every hour during the day. I can only assume that it would be the same in the other direction.

HI...last November we had a similar situation with the Portuguese trains and strikes, due to a flight out needed to get to Porto...ended up using BlaBla car and ride shared with another Pilgrim, got to our destination quickly and very reasonably priced
