Planing to walk camino in June 2017
Hello everyone, my name is Linards, I am 22 y/o and I am from Latvia.

I read Xoy introduction and I realized that we have a similar story :)

First time I heard of Camino de Santiago was a week ago from my friend who had seen movie "The way", he recommended it to me and I watched it and instantly after I watched the movie I knew that I want to do it.
I have always wanted to do something like that but I never knew where and how etc.
After I watched "The Way" I found this forum and did read a lot of information about Camino. I have watched about 3 documentary movies about Camino de Santiago.
And the best feeling is that never in my life nothing had called me that much as camino does. This is first time in my life that I feel 100% sure about something that I HAVE TO DO IT!
I have always started to do something but I always quit. This time there will be no quitting.
So I researched a lot of information in forum, @Walter1407 and others helped me a lot, thanks:)
Now it has been a week since I seen the movie and I did book a plain ticket to Biarritz for june 1st.
I have always been spontaneous but have never done something spontaneous like this.
I'm planing to walk from SJPdP to Santiago de Compostela.

Can't describe how excited I am about this :)
