Time of past OR future Camino
I plan to walk the Camino Starting May 8th 2015
Buen Camino all! I am landing in Madrid on May 7th, getting on board the 11.35 train to Pamplona which arrives around 2.40. Hoping to grab a bus or cab to SJPdP and find a place to stay the night. Anyone leaving around this time?

Also, any recommendations on where to stay in SJPdP?

Thank you all!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Guides that will let you complete the journey your way.
Yes, I'm staying at Corazon Puro on night of 14 May. They will pick you up in Pamplona and you stay with them overnight to be dropped into SJPDP on 15th. Its a suggestion I read on this wonderful forum. Thank you to Ivar and all of the generous spirited pilgrims (either past, future or present) for you constructive comments

Beilari (formerly L'Esprit du Chemin) is across from the Pilgrim's Office and provides a warm welcome and an opportunity to meet other new pilgrims over a delicious meal. It is a good start to your Camino adventure. Have a great time!!

I emailed them about this option and unfortunately they dont have anything available for then. No worries, I am sure I will be able to make my way. :)

Feeling a little lost. Went to this site and picked the departure of Pamplona, but there was no destination for SJPdP available in the drop down for destination. Did I do something wrong maybe?

Just joined the forum today. My wife and I are arriving Madrid early am May 7, 2016. We plan on spending 2 days in Madrid to acclimate. We made a reservation at a small hotel in SJPDP on the 9th. We plan on starting our walk on the 10th...Still trying to figure out how to best travel to SJPDP. Any suggestions?
