CPI - rough guide notes to Camino Portuguese Interior in resources

Time of past OR future Camino
So many since 2003.
Just to advise that I’ve now loaded my notes on the CPI (completed Oct 15) to the resource section of this site.

Ivar has created a new sub-section for the CPI so as not to confuse it with other Portuguese routes.
Many newbies may mistakenly assume that the CPInterior is same as the more well-known Camino Portugal route (Lisbon-Porto-Santiago with coastal and central variants)

The CPI goes from Viseu (or even a little before here at Farminhao) to Chaves-Verin-Santiago (via Sanabrese route either upper or lower variant)

My guide covers Viseu-Chaves-Verin-Allariz-Ourense-Santiago. An awesome camino with stunning views and a lot of very steep walking for the first 6 days. The best way to see the Douro valley.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Grace,
Good to hear from you and relive the walk by reading your comprehensive notes,I believe I must have been day-dreaming and missed some of the places you mention .However I recall some fairly hard days climbing, relaxation and midday naps and good evening meals with events and scenery .James
