Hi
My grown up daughter and I have planned to continue our Camino from Logrono around March 20 and would like to know if there are particular things to be concerned about due to weather and the fact that we will be walking through the Easter time?? Will the hostels be open? and if so might they be very crowded due to Easter? are there particularly interesting Easter parades or sermons that we shouldn't miss?
Of course we are prepared for changing weather but we hope it could be good too?
Thanks from Lise and Hanne from Denmark

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
@Hanne Lundorff welcome to the forum. The weather will be what the weather is. So much variation at that time of year its impossible to make a sensible prediction. Expect some rain, hope for some sun-shine and pack accordingly. The majority of hostals will be open, there are good resources on this forum and on Gronze to provide up to date information. Easter is a popular time to walk for Spaniards and the Easter festivities are very significant to many. Logrono itself has impressive processions on Black (Good) Friday. All of this can put pressure on accommodation but I have never not found a bed walking at that time of year.
