Time of past OR future Camino
April- May (2017)
we are starting in 3 days!! And are deciding whether to purchase s local sim + prepaid data or whether there is regular wifi access (or only in big towns). Whilst not addicted to technology we need to be in touch re businesses back home.
If we should get a sim- any recommendations for a good company that services all/most of Europe (as we are continuing travels after Camino).
Thanks!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
You do not say which country you are from - that probably makes a difference to any advice about finding a SIM and data deal.

Most albergues along the Camino Frances have wifi these days, as do many of the bars. You will not have to wait for the major towns to find wifi. Usually free though you may have to ask for the password from the bar staff.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
While the albergues do have wifi, I found that it was often very slow. I purchased an Orange sim card in Pamplona for my tablet and ended up using it most of the time. It worked everywhere.

I buy data add ons to my home package. I think this is pretty economical if you are from any where in the EU.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
