Dear Fellow Forum Friends,

I would like to thank all of you for your threads of knowledge, wisdom you have bestowed on this forum.
I am now home, having accomplished my first Camino Frances, safely, no blisters, with many new
friends that I was able to help with your words of wisdom, as well as others that alas, did not get their email
addresses. What an incredible experience!!! So many adventures, and with one very betrayed left knee by the time I got into Burgos. So much so, that the Hospitalero took one look at me and said I was going home in the morning, could not continue the camino. Also turning 60 on this journey and having the surprise of my life in Santiago, as my whole family joined me for the final steps!! Yes, this young woman walked the whole way on her two feet, knees and legs, and still wonders if it was she that actually did this! Many a time I would think of a gem I had read on the forum, and thank the person who had written it, in my heart. You are all part of my camino which started way before I actually left Canada, and I thank and hug each one of you.

I also walked in celebrating 60 years on Earth. Seems like you had a wonderful journey. It is so great to have friends and family join you , as both of us did. Made many new friends along the way... the Camino was a revelation!
