Camino Frances (St Jean to Belorado; Astorga to Santiago)
I need to get from Bilbao to Belorado, and one option is to go via Haro. However, the interchange at Haro is a bit tight - the bus from Bilbao arrives in Haro at 16.20 and departs for Belorado at 16.30.

Has anyone done this? Will I need to change buses, and if so, is it easy/doable in only 10 mins? Can I buy a bus ticket all the way through from Bilbao to Belorado?

Any feedback much appreciated.
Thanks

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

10 minutes is doable. The busdepot/station of Haro is not that big.
We were there for our regular holidays.

You can't buy a ticket for the whole route seeing Bilbao to Haro is covered by Alsa and Haro to Belorado by two other companies. Autobuses Jimenez in one of them and you can buy that ticket with the busdriver.
You will be allright and in worst case scenario Haro has some cheap lodgings and an albergue ( the Camino Vasco Interior passes Haro ) and a delicious tapasscene.
But you will be allright with the connection!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
