Planning on walking the French Way in May
Just letting you know in case you was on it, due to French ACT strike...

Ryanair cancelled my flight (this afternoon) for Tues.22nd May from London to Biarritz. I was looking forward to commencing my Camino on 23rd May. They sent a text msg advising to re-book but it's impossible to book another flight online with them, they don't answer the phone (on hold forever) nor are they answering web chat - what a lousy airline. Other options of getting to Biarritz are now very expensive. So disappointing but I'll get there.

Hey Charlie, did you get an email with an option to either re book or cancel?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Yep, I think the link in the text would have sent you to their site with the options, if you have a smart phone, and put in your booking reference and email address.... it allowed me re book at no charge... I would be disappointed if it doesn, of course we have had to re book transport, hotel at SJPP and our first 2 hostels. But, like you said, you will get there... best of luck Charlie and hope you get it sorted swiftly!

Oops looks like the whole message didn't go (probably used up all my data on hold to Ryanair) they sent a text to rebook but this was impossible & impossible to reach them. I didn't want to rebook until I spoke to them, to check if they could put me on a flight next week, as other options to Biarritz were so expensive at this late stage, but this wasn't going to happen. I've just booked a flight via Madrid.

Ok Charlie, best of luck on the whole Camino adventure and hopefully will see you on the trip, buen Camino!

Thanks Mike Im happy for you but a tad disappointed I couldn't re-book another flight. The wifi here is playing up & I don't have a local SIM card just my Australian devices. I've not long received the email which appears a lot easier to rebook. Thanks for your good wishes and best of luck to you too.
Buen Camino
