Hi this is Peter Jackson from California. I'm new here. I signed up here few days ago. By scrolling I found this forum interesting. Hope i found more interesting facts and funny stories of yours :D

Hi Peter and welcome !
You will find a wealth of information here. Lots of interesting threads and resources.
Take your time to browse through them.
The search box in the right upper corner is a good start...

Hi Peter. With the coming of covid there has not been anywhere near the level of what I will say is useful posts to new or prospective pilgrims on this forum. A lot of what has been going on falls into community building. That doesn't mean you can't ask questions but lurking will not give you as much information as it has in the past. So search the past posts as @SabineP mentioned, find what interests you and then ask away.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I join in the chorus of welcomes, Peter. If you can't find what you are looking for, just start a thread. One more will add to the soup!

Hi Peter, welcome from the Mojave desert. You've found what is probably the best resource for all things Camino. Chances are that anything you want to know has been discussed, it is a challenge sometimes to find because of the amount of information.

My daughter just called me to tell me one of her best friends lost their house near Phoenix. It is quite a mess between Ashland and Medford. I hope you are safe and things are getting under control.
We were driving home to Medford from LA yesterday. Found out that the freeway was closed at the Oregon border, so got a motel near my mother's house in Northern California. Fortunately, our house is outside of the evacuation zone, but I have friends who had to evacuate. The fire in N. California grew worse, and this is what it looks like this morning at 10:30 am. Dark as dusk.
Sorry @peterjackson for hijacking your welcome thread!
