Altra Timp 2 on sale

If you’re a fan of this Altra model in USA, REI has discontinued and is selling them for $99, thats $40 off. reviews say they run narrower than Lone Peak, but they’re perfect for my feet. Uppers look almost new but sole is quite worn after 1 year of ~20 miles/week.

I wore out 5 pairs of original Timps, then tried to switch to Timp 2. NOT the same fit at all. Hated it. The Lone Peak 4.5 now fits like the old Timp.

Agree on the Timp 2 being a very disappointing edition. FYI, the Timp 3 is out now (almost) - I can confirm we are now back to the big toe box . The new shoes are a Lone Peak 5 beater IMHO for a Camino. https://ultrarunning.com/featured/first-look-new-altras-for-road-and-trail/
