Problems with the Camino places app

ivar,
Your response to my problem with the Camino places app was spot on fixing the issue with my iPad. However I am only taking my iPhone on the Camino. With my iPhone i have the Camino places icon but no listing under settings. Not sure why. And certainly not sure how to fix this.
One of the problems may be because I don't know most of what I am doing with these electronics. I am logged in as Angus in the forum. When I put, or tried to put the app on my phone I was asked for another name as Angus was taken. So on the iPhone i am logged in as Cangus.
Glad you are here to help

Ivar,
Do I have to pay for a separate app for my iPhone? I figured the app on the iPad would also cover the phone....perhaps that is the problem?

When you buy apps from the App Store you are purchasing them for your account, not your device. Thus, all devices linked to that account can install the app. If your phone and your iPad are both on the same account, then you can install Ivar's app on both as well.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I don't know if I'm posting in the right place and if this is a problem with the app or a problem with MY USING of the app. Maybe one is a suggestion for improvement.

Anyway, I purchased Camino Places for my Camino trip--started walking Mar. 10. I'm going slow...

I'm using it on my iPod touch, so only when wifi is available. What I've mostly been trying to access lately is the places to stay. Right now I'm in an albergue in León that is the first one listed in Brierly's book (San Francisco..), but I don't see it in the list that comes up. I wanted to leave a review. I think this has happened before, where the albergue I had found wasn't there, so, is there a way to add new ones, or through the app to send a message alerting of something that could be added?

Suggestions for the reviewing--I think the place to leave comments should be longer, allowing people to say more. It is very short, not allowing for much detail. I also think it would be good to be able to edit your reviews--I realized after posting one that I could have added pictures, so I tried to review again, but can only do one every three months.

Now that I've been on the road a couple of weeks, I would also like to go back and review some past albergues, especially letting people know of the really good ones, however, the app only seems to let me search for places in my current location, I can't seem to get to past ones. (This can also be a problem when searching for the reviews for accommodation in future locations.)
