Planning to walk from Vezelay to SDC Via the del Norte, starting at the beginning of May 2019.
What do people think about the Bergerac Variant?
What ideas about getting from the Voie de Vezelay to Hendaye/Irun? The GR10 from SJPP sounds pretty tough.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
On the Vezelay route, there is a (probably unmarked but recommended) route to Irun and the Norte From St-Palais via:

Armendarits, Ospitalia, Itxassou, Espelette, Pont d'Amotz, Sare, Ascain, St-Jean-de-Luz and Hendaye. You will need good 1:25000 IGN maps. The route is reckoned to take 3-4 days.

That sounds good, thanks Glenshiro. I walked the Voie du Puy a couple of years ago and wondered about Saint Palais. Thanks for including the intermediate villages, that’s just what I needed.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
