It can be done in 32, I walked from Saint Jean to Santiago to Fisterra to Muxía and back to Santiago in 35. But I would not have planned for it in that amount of time. And I took every longer off the road route that was available.
As a to be Anglican priest, sitting the airport about to depart, I packed hiking clothes. My Book of Common Prayer and Bible are on my Kindle for praying the offices.
I met with my spiritual director before departing to focus my prayer life and reflection pre-Camino, I would assume your friend...
I leave in less than a month, your blog is wonderful and makes me all the more ready to go. Just underlined the Samos monastery in my guidebook, I do not want to miss that. Thank you!
You are not the only one. I just purchased my ticket to Paris and now it seems so very real and close (2 months). And it is very difficult to focus, in fact I am checking the forum in class right now. :D
I have yet to walk to the Camino... but I have a pair of Chaco hiking/ walking sandals that are awesome. The straps and soles are replaceable, which is handy.

I just want to echo Tom's thanks to all. I think I will be taking a pack that is a bit smaller than my 65. Will definitely be checking out another Osprey pack, I do love the one I have.
Blessings!
My flight to Paris is booked, I will spend a couple of days in the city before taking the train to SJPdP on June 6th. So I should be setting out the morning of the seventh. This will be my first camino, I am very excited. Currently I reside in Austin, Texas where I am studying to be an Anglican...
I have an Atmos 65, will that be too much pack for the camino? After reading these posts considering bringing something smaller. Thoughts?
Blessings... T.J.
