Every time I walk at Easter I find pilgrims that started in St.Jean carrying a sheet with the albergues open that early in the year. Does anyone know if this is available online? I’m looking to plan some longer days for an upcoming trip but don’t know what albergues are open and when.
Thanks...
If anybody can bear me asking questions that have already been answered before, I'm very grateful.
I'm looking to get an idea of the feasibility of walking from the top of Italy to Rome. I have July and a lot of August off work. I have walked the Camino Frances, Portuguese from Lisbon, del...
I have completed the Frances, Portuguese , del Norte and Primitivo. This Easter 2018, my partner would like to come on Camino with me. I'm considering the part from Leon to Sarria as I like that a lot but she would like for me to experience something new.
I'm wondering about the via de la...
starting from Irun along del Norte then through to primitivo to finesterre.
Leaving in less than three weeks now.
Few questions:
Landing in Bilbao. planning on staying in Irun municipal.
Can we definitely get our credentials there? I've none this time.
Are there any good PDF online guides...
I am walking another camino this year and would like to walk to Finesterre. Sadly, last year I had a very powerful romance that ended in heartbreak when we returned home. I'm happy again and am hoping to walk another full camino to finesterre again this year, albeit a different camino. I liked...
We are planning out a rough schedule for our camino from Irun to Finesterre, via the Primitivo. ( very rough)
my friend likes taking one or two days off as rest days over the course of the whole camino.
Does anyone have any recommendations for scenic places, or places with a nice relaxed...
I've completed the Camino Frances, and last year walked from Lisbon to finesterre. This year I'm hiking out of Irun and doing the del Norte and switching onto the primitivo.
I'm wondering if I need a sleeping bag? I'm walking in July and August. I've never needed one on either of the other...
we are getting to that exciting part of the early year where we are starting to make our plans for our summer Camino.
We plan on walking from July 1st onwards.
I'm hoping to fly into Bilbao at 16.25 afternoon on a Friday.
I think the start of the del Norte is Irun, but I'm sure that's up for...
hi guys, anyone nice enough to answer a few queries as I troll through the many posts to find out more.
I did the de France route in 2015, and walked from Lisbon to finesterre this July .
We actually loved the Portuguese way, whilst we met only a few pilgrims between Lisbon and Porto, we...

I arrive in Barajas and intend to get the bus to Leon. There's one from sur and moncloa. I think getting the renfe train from T4 to sur station is best but was wondering if anyone has other ideas. The bus from moncloa leaves 15 mins later so would give me a...
I really like walking and have came home from the camino Portuguese this summer, having formed a big group of great friends. I have a week off at the end of the month and would love to walk a bit more in Spain. If I don't go it will Easter before I get another chance.
But, I had a very...
my friend and I have walked the camino France's and the Portuguese. But when we get the 25th dec out of the way we wonder if there's anywhere we can walk for a week before we go back to work. We are thinking anywhere with a little sun and warmth.
We are looking at flying into Seville or...

Hi guys, I've walked on and since in hornillos soon. I heard there's an albergue that has chinche problems.I don't know its name. Can anyone advise a clean albergue in hornillos, or name the one I've heard about. I'm 38k in today, so hornillos will be my stop point. Thanks for your help.
I'm starting my camino from Lisbon in the next few days. Does anyone know what the pilgrim traffic is like in July coming out of Lisbon? I'm not expecting camino France numbers by any stretch. I am just wondering if i will be walking for days and days without meeting another soul. Planning on...
We are starting our camino in Lisbon and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a hostel that is pilgrim friendly or similar to an albergue. We are quite social so hotels really aren't our scene and we like staying in albergues and meeting other pilgrims.
We're also planning on staying in...
fellow pilgrims, I completed the camino France's last year and thoroughly loved it. This year my camino walking friend is dead set on the Portuguese camino from Lisbon to Santiago. We have no time restrictions and intend to start on July 1st from Lisbon .
I'm concerned that we will be missing...
I'm trying not to be too organised, previous caminos have taught me to go with the flow but I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for albergues between carrion and Leon. I can make do with most places but I'm just trying to get an idea of places to stay so I have some idea of timing...
As Easter is earlier this year I'm wondering if I need to worry about albergues being open in late March. I plan on walking from Burgos to Astorga. Expecting all sorts of weather but do I need to consider the fact that some albergues don't open until April?
I'm also wondering if the credential...
Due to work commitments I've walked from Astorga to Santiago in the summer and Pamplona to Burgos in October last year. I'd love to walk from Burgos to Leon, through the meseta in late March of 2016. That's my next holiday from work. I was told by two pilgrims I met, that the meseta can still...
