Well, I would like to start my little culinary discussion with an obvious statement that by the end of the day after 30-35 km you will be grateful for anything, any type of food...
However, if you take delight in discovering different cuisines then this is the perfect time to do it!

We arrived to Pedra Furada on the day of the World Cup final, so it was decided that we stay over there that night.
The owner Antonio took great care of us, speaks little English, was very helpful and fortunately he had his 2 beds free for us. After 3 sleepless nights it was a bliss! Clean...
I think you are right as the majority of this crowd were students on summer holidays...
But I do hope you'll meet some interesting, nice people and sure you will. Portuguese wine is lovely, refreshing, especially after a long day's walk. They will recommend Vinho Verde, which cannot be found...

Only four beds, we were happy to find one place free and I slept on the floor.
As soons as we fell asleep, there was a terrible scream and noises coming from the courtyard. First I thought it might be foxes...
We have just recently got back from Santiago after completing Camino Portuguese.
We had a good time, met many lovely people seen many nice things but also had couple of annoyances too.
I have done this route 4 years ago by myself and I did it in the most minimalistic way. I slept under the...
We have just recently got back from Santiago after completing Camino Portuguese on Thursday.
I have done this route 4 years ago and I have to admit that walking out of Porto is one of the worst part for many reasons. Firstly, the signs are scarce and difficult to find, not many people can help...
