It was great. The weather changed a lot - a couple of really hot days and, as you saw in those pictures, a few days of cloud and snow, but it was never awful. It was really just a question of taking a coat :wink:

I'll certainly report back on the state of the Camino Primitivo when I return; I'll probably be one of the earlier walkers of the year, so with luck I'll be able to provide information in time for people travelling this summer.
I will be walking the Camino Primitivo in about a month. My flight to Oviedo arrives quite late: after 9PM at the airport, so surely well after 10PM by the time I get into Oviedo, meaning I'll be too late for the Alburgue and will probably have to stay in a hotel.

Thank you for these further replies. I plan to stay in pilgrim Alburgues, so I hope these won't fill up with people visiting their families. But perhaps I'll take a small tent just in case - this will let me be a lot more flexible with my days too.
