Camino Francis (April 2015)
15 April 2015 -- Vilarente to Villadangos del Paramo -- 32.7 Kms

Got going around 0730 -- pretty overcast day and anticipated rain at some point in the morning -- kept pushing towards Leon -- only saw two other pilgrims on the road -- so mainly solo walking today -- which is good - almost finished up on another book --

Leon -- I like Leon, much more than Burgos -- just a beautiful city -- rich in history -- the Camino Route in Leon takes you to all of the cool historical spots -- probably by designed (I know going out on a limb with that analysis) -- took lots of picture.

After Leon -- urban sprawl -- actually a nice change of environment after the approach march to Leon -- love people watching --

So hoofing along the Urban Jungle and what do I see -- an African Cafe -- just had to stop, looked like a cool place for lunch -- and it was -- 1.80 euros for beer and Tapas -- had no idea on what was in the Tapas -- but did note one sardine -- only ate half of that little guy (did not want to be rude -- but I hate sardines and the other little whole fishes - yeck), but the rest was really good -- figure this will have to undergo the 4 hour rule to truly test the quality of the food.

Did not see many on the route at all today -- strange -- after almost 10 hours, was time to park -- could not go any further -- so stayed at the first Hostel I came to -- not bad -- pretty sure no bedbugs -- food ok --

btw four hour rule a success -- so should sleep through the night.

Buen Camino
