Hi there

I am starting my Camino in San Sebastian and have noticed that the Albergue is only open from July-August. I will be arriving on the 22nd May. Does anyone have some tips regarding nice affordable places to stay as I would like to book my first night before I start my journey on the 23rd.

Thanks so much.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
When I walked from Irun to San Sebastian last august, in the albergue in Irun the hospitaleros gave me a map from San Sebastian where it was possible to find the albergue. Impossible if not, because San Sebastian is not a pilgrim-oriented city and people only know where the youth albergue is, with it's particular rules, different than the pilgrim albergue are.

Buen Camino, I'm sorry for my usual delay answering posts,

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

After working on accommodation updates over the past month, I figured it was time to update my previous posting of donativos on the Norte/Primitivo from a few years back. Plenty of changes...
