Can anyone advice me for the information of most updated lodgings along the Camino Frances for April?
I have been trying to book ahead of time through the booking.com, however there are a number of places not listed on their web site. Gronze? Any tips or information will be appreciated.

I have no idea to be honest. I prefer not to book in advance or research those kind of things, otherwise it will become a well planned trip.
just go for adventure!
buen camino!

Gronze worked for me, but I also looked at the Wise Pilgrim app, and that seems to be kept up to date as well.

I walked the Camino Frances twice during the month of April and I simply used google to find lodgings for the next stage or village that I would walk to the next day, Many times, I either did it during the day or when I arrived in the village. Finding accommodations during this time of the year is usually quite easy especially for larger towns and cities. Where I would recommend reserving is either at the very beginning as there is more people or for very small villages as the number of beds or rooms are usually quite limited.

I have been very successful using a combination of gronze.com and booking.com. There are a number of places in Gronze that you may not find on Booking for several reasons from availability to places not using this service. Most of the accommodations on Gronze have contact information. If you email them directly requesting a reservation, most will get back to you quite promptly. If you are walking in April, you should find good availability of beds. Private rooms might be a little trickier particularly in albergues where the number is usually quite limited. In any case, as you are still a ways out from your Camino, use Gronze.com to help identify places to stay and then contact them directly.

I walked in April 2017 never had an issue getting accommodation,I had John Brierleys guide book at the time which lists all the albergues plus I used camino pilgrim app which lists all accommodation too,but it shouldn't be a problem to get somewhere, buen camino

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I found their emails on Gronze or on FB and wrote them. Almost all have written back confirming reservations. They only ask that you call a day or two ahead of time to reconfirm and please, please let them know in advance if you need to cancel.

Down load Camino Ninja you can make up your own itinerary and book your accomadation as to the style of accomadation and the amount you want to pay, it also has their email address and phone number. Orrison first stop out of STJPdP opens on 10th April and accepts bookings. With the amount of snow Europe is getting the camino might not be open by then
