I bought my airline ticket yesterday as well. I will be flying to Dublin on April 27, 2017 to visit my Irish pilgrim friends Susan and Treasa and their families. We will then head to Spain to walk the Camino from Villafranca del Bierzo to Santiago de Compostela

Actually, I am meeting up with 7 of my Irish friends in Los Arcos along the way. I met them last year on my first Camino.
 
Now I am committed to walking for a couple of weeks in April 2017. Probably going to be from SJPdP to Burgos. Flying into/out of Bilbao.

Quickest way is via Bayonne.
However if the weather is bad then maybe commence in Pamplona
