Albergue Hilario = Albergue de Mealhada?

Since there haven't been many albergues on the Camino in between Lisbon and Porto, I'm always keeping my eyes out. I have seen reference here to the Albergue Hilario in Mealhada.

What I'm wondering is if that is the same place as the Albergue Peregrinos Mealhada, https://www.facebook.com/alberguedeperegrinosdamealhada , which his actually a few kms beyond Mealhada in Sernadelo?

I see that ViaLusitana doesn't list the Hilario albergue, so I'm wondering whether it's one and the same.

Thanks peregrinos.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I think we saw the same reference, he had it 14 at miles from coimbra. Which would put it in Mealhada.

Thanks Mike. It turns out that both of these places are actually listed as being in Sernadelo, which is a km or so further on the Camino, a little hamlet adjacent to Mealhada.

Here is the info on Hilario: http://hilario-residence.com/

But what I can't tell is if it's a different place than this place: http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/Albergue-de-Peregrinos-de-Mealhada/Mealhada/66781

I guess it doesn't much matter if there are one or two places near Mealhada for pilgrims, but I think it must show that traffic is increasing quite a bit if it's worth it to compete with another place in town for the pilgrim traffic.

Good Evening,

would you have any information on the Camino from Viseu to Santiago ? Is there a guide book available ?

I would appreciate any information.
Thank You,
Cliff

Yes, Laurie, they are the same thing. It is the Albergue de Peregrinos da Mealhada, but as they also have in the same spot an Hotel and a Restaurant, with the name Hilário, some people call it Albergue Hilário.
Next time here we will go there for a Leitão (suckling pig) :)

Cliff, there is nothing.
Just a website: http://www.cpisantiago.pt
It's all in Portuguese but there's a Google translator included
