Albergues open in April?

Hi All,

I've been reading this forum for a few months now and take off next thursday for my camino! I'm feeling nervous but very, very excited.

I'm hoping to travel the Camino Del Norte but have seen mixed answers about whether or not the albergues will be open on this route at this time of year. Does anyone have a link that answers this?

Hey Jess,

This has been something on my mind too but I'm starting a little later than you (27th of April). I'm kind of winging it and have only a loose plan but it's always nice to know you have somewhere to stay at the end of a day.This is a pretty interesting list but I don't think it's comprehensive. A friend from Llanes walked last year during March/April and she had no problem finding either an Albergue or a cheap hostel.
