What a lovely interview, Ivar, with Alex from Fresco Tours! It is terrific that both of you, Ivar in Santiago and Alex in Bilboa, were able to get out of your homes and take a walk in that elixir of fresh May air! 5,000 steps before 10:00 am -- Ivar, you're on a roll! . i pray for St James to support the flow of inspiration and creativity in how each of our many support systems along the Way shall handle virus contamination issues and concerns. My takeaway: Cautious optimism. For me, April 2021 remains my target date for my fourth Camino.

A good observation from Alex that perhaps the Camino will be open fairly soon for local people - people already living in Spain so that some semblance of business can begin.
I can’t imagine much happening on the Camino for those of us outside of Spain’s borders until there is a vaccine available. Will Spain allow foreigners in and will our own countries allow us back until there is some safeguard available.
I can only dream of better days and hope that I won’t be too old - I am already a “Wobble Walker” as a recent forum member referred to those of us attached to our poles. Not sure if I appreciated the comment.
