I'll be starting the Camino Frances, May, 2015, arriving from British Columbia, Canada....Maybe we shall meet. I am a mixture of excitement, fear and absolute, "What the heck am I doing", but has been in the works for a very long time. Thanks for all the tips on this forum Buen Camino

Hey, fellow British Columbian. I'm from Victoria BC, starting the Camino from St Jean on May 16. I, too, am excited and a bit "What the heck am I doing"!

Tonight, I'm more excited than afraid. Thanks Angela, nice to know I'm not the only one. I'm just up the road in Nanaimo....have a wonderful journey, I'm starting on 22. I am so looking forward to this experience...thank you SRM for reminding me why I'm doing it.

Welcome to the forum I'm almost there, what you are feeling is perfectly natural. The good news is once you start to walk and get into your rhythm all your anxieties will dissappear. Wishing you a great Camino.
