Hello Forum!
My name is Peggy. I am from the USA.
First - Thank you Ivar for this site and all the work you put into it. Thank you to all those who contribute, especially the veterans - really appreciate your insight. I found The Forum to be a wealth of information. I have been a follower for quite some time now, I have made a few comments here & there but haven’t done a formal intro as I was afraid I would chicken out! But, I have taken Lady Macbeth’s advice and “screwed my courage to its sticking place” I am at the airport now, if all goes as planned (hahaha I know I know “best laid plans” ) I will start walking out of PSJPP Monday April 9th.
I have been planning my Camino for over 3 years now, I can’t believe it’s finally here. I hope to put all I have learned from the forum into action, plan plan plan and then accept what comes. I only hope I have the fortitude to finish. And, if time allows, I will be able to make it to a Forum Meet Up and say hola to S Yates !
My thanks again to all of you.
Buen Camino

I wish you a Buen Camino! I’ll be a little ahead of you. Leaving Najera on the 11th for a short walk with friends.
Enjoy your time, you’ll be back again, and again, and again..............

Hi Peggy I start on 13 April but will be on a bike so I’ll catch you up and walk with you for a while. I’ll just ask every person I pass if they are Peggy until I find you! Buen Camino.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

Wonderful, Peggy!
Smooth travels to you and....Buen Camino!
Now there's a great way to let pedestrian pilgrims know you you are approaching on a bike... "Hey, there; are you Peggy?". :D
:D:D
Just don't ask the guys that, @Richard O'Rourke . You might get some funny looks.
Buen camino to you too, Richard!

Of course I should make it clear that I will have slowed my bike to walking pace, sounded my bell gently (3 times) in a friendly manner, bid the walker good [insert time of day] before enquiring if the walker is Peggy!

Peggy, I will also be starting on Monday 9 Apr, I fly in from Australia on Saturday to CDG and intend a day rest on Sunday at St Jean Pied de port, maybe I will see you Sunday or on the route, Buen Camino

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!

Hi Peggy, I'll be resuming by camino from Estella on the 19th and since I'm a slow walker there's a good chance we'll meet along 'the way'.
